How many Airlines in Vietnam ?

In Vietnam there are many airlines ?- the question seemed not difficult to answer however to complete the well is not easy. Vietnam currently has 4 airline is Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific and Vasco. Some airlines are operating each Indochina Airlines, Air Mekong.



Vietnam Airlines

Standard: 3 stars (Vietnam Airlines is to improve services to upgrade the airline 4 stars).

Flag carrier Vietnam Airlines Vietnam Airlines is currently the largest inland Vietnam with 70% market share of domestic tourists. Vietnam Airlines currently owns 100% of shares of Vasco, 70% and 49% of Jetstar Pacific Airlines of Cambodia Angkor Air (Cambodia).

As of July 2015 the entire fleet of Vietnam Airlines has 90 aircraft, Vietnam Airlines is expected to increase the number of aircraft in its fleet to 110 aircraft.

Vietjet Air

Vietjet air or known with the name Vietjet Air is the airline's first privately Vietnam. Vietjet Air was founded in 2007, until 2011, it began operations with its first flight from Noi Bai away from Tan Son Nhat. After a period of operation Vietjet Air has rapidly become the second largest airline in Vietnam (previously belonging to Jetstar Pacific).

Currently Vietjet Air has over 30 aircraft, which is expected this number will increase to 145 in the coming years.

Jetstar Pacific

JSC Aviation Jetstar Pacific Airlines - Jetstar Pacific is the low-cost carrier's first Vietnam. Jetstar's two main shareholders today is Flag carrier Vietnam - Vietnam Airlines and Qantas Group (Australia). Jetstar Pacific Airlines formerly Pacific Airlines but after Qantas Group repurchase of shares (2007), the renamed Jetstar Pacific.

Currently Jetstar Pacific has about 12 planes, including Vietnam Airlines plane.

Vasco

Aviation Services Company - Vasco is an airline in Vietnam, specialized in exploiting the short flight time major departure from Ho Chi Minh City. Previously under Vietnam Airlines Vasco specialized in exploiting the flight away from Vung Tau to the rig, which later was privatized and Vietnam Airlines is the main shareholding.

Indochina Airlines (decommissioned)

Indochina Airlines (Indochina Airlines) is a private airline's second Vietnam was established (after Vietjet Air) is a private airline operating the first. Indochina Airlines was founded in 2008 but by the end of 2009, they stopped working.

Air Mekong (decommissioned)

JSC Mekong Aviation - Air Mekong is a private airline in Vietnam Tuesday, Air Mekong was established in 2009 and officially operational in 2010 but after 3 years, until early 2013 Mekong Air stopped flying to restructuring.
